Description
Few sportsmen are given the honour of having their own trademark sneaker, but Paul Rodriguez now has ten. The Nike SB Dunk Low What The Paul mixes aspects from iconic colorways of each of those types in honour of that long-standing history, resulting in a diverse tapestry that commemorates the rich past behind every material, design, and hue we've seen throughout P-time Rod's with Nike Skateboarding.
Ornate embroidery, wild designs, colourful gradients, and a range of quality fabrics mingle to turn familiar characteristics into something altogether new, with mismatched make-ups on each shoe highlighting some of the most distinctive components from P-hallmark Rod's collection. Mesh, leather, suede, patent leather, and woven fabrics make up the shoe's patterned upper of the Nike SB Dunk Low What The Paul. The design is completed by Paul Rodriguez's signature on the tongue and a unique edition metal deubrés.
Although Nike SB has its roots in skateparks, the world of basketball is frequently referenced. Given its ties to both, the Dunk Low is the ideal model to display it. Take the most recent pair, which are color- blocked in the Black Toe-style with a Boston Celtics-inspired palette of black, white, and green. A padded tongue and a Zoom Air-cushioned sole provide support and comfort, as does the 'board-ready structure.
Nike took note of the love skaters had for the Dunk and finally in 2002, introduced the SB Dunk, re-engineered for skating with features such as more padding and better traction. The SB Dunk became a canvas to try out offbeat colour combinations and unusual fabrics like pig suede.
