Nike SB Dunk Low Crenshaw Skate Club

The Nike SB Dunk Low Crenshaw Skate Club brings us back to Crenshaw, California. The Crenshaw Square sign in the district served as the source of inspiration for the joint Dunk sneaker, which uses its vivid red and green colours to create a distinctive design on top of panelling made of crackling leather.

In an homage to McIntosh's upbringing, when he spent much of his time practising new tricks at Crenshaw Square, the Nike SB Dunk Low Crenshaw Skate Club is finished with an ice transparent sole that shows daycare-inspired graphics.

Released as a collegiate sneaker, Nike Dunks can now be found on the feet of celebrities and commoners alike. Limited editions like the Off White Dunks, from the 2019 collab between Nike and Virgil Abloh’s design label Off-White, further cemented Dunks’ place in sneaker folklore.
