Nike Dunk Low SP Syracuse

Nike released the Nike Dunk Low SP Syracuse to mark the Nike Dunk's 35th anniversary (2020). It made its debut as a part of the 1985 Nike College Colours initiative, which provided footwear in the colours of 12 well-known basketball programmes, enabling supporters to fully support their preferred teams. One of the first collegiate colourways Nike offered was for Syracuse, breaking the mould for basketball shoe colour schemes.

A white leather upper with contrasting orange blazing leather accents makes up the Nike Dunk Low SP Syracuse. The design is completed by a white midsole, an orange outsole, and the traditional Nike branding on the tongue, completing the design. In March 2020, these sneakers were made available.

Released as a collegiate sneaker, Nike Dunks can now be found on the feet of celebrities and commoners alike. Limited editions like Off White Dunks, from the 2019 collab between Nike and Virgil Abloh’s design label Off-White further cemented Dunks’ place in sneaker folklore.
