Nike SB Dunk Low Mummy

The Nike SB Dunk Low Mummy is inspired by the ancient Egyptian method of mummification. The 'Mummy' is coming to life on your feet, influenced by the famous Halloween costume and toilet paper shenanigans. The sneaker's exterior is made of a bandage-like canvas with pre-distressing and a minimal bit of artificial smudging. 

The 'mummified' SB Dunk Low has a tearaway stitched top with soft suede layers you can unwrap, but that isn't the weirdest part—the ghoulish eyes on the heel tab, as well as the midsole and outsole, light in the darkness. Eye designs on the Nike SB Dunk Low Mummy come out from beneath the layered cloth at the heel. This Halloween design has a glow-in-the-dark sole and an embroidered tongue tag featuring the Eye of Horus. The 'Mummy' SB Dunk Low takes to the streets in a scary manner.

Nike took note of the love skaters had for the Dunk and finally in 2002, introduced the SB Dunk, re-engineered for skating with features such as more padding and better traction. The SB Dunk became a canvas to try out offbeat colour combinations and unusual fabrics like pig suede.
