Nike Dunk Low Off-White Lot 40

The Nike Dunk Low Off-White Lot 40 is part of the 'Dear Summer' collection, which is a wide follow-up to Virgil Abloh's debut Nike Dunk partnership from 2019. Off-White's current project focuses on a single low-top Nike Dunk model, animating it with 48 different colorways for the lace, tongue, sock-liner, zip tie, lot numbering, and lateral swoosh layer.

The Nike Dunk Low Off-White Lot 40 features a white leather exterior with soft grey suede accents, as well as Virgil Abloh's signature embellishments like a plastic zip tie and Helvetica text written on the tongue. The sneaker's additional lacing system, zip-tie, exposed-foam tongue, and a rectangular tab all are attached to the Swoosh and all include vibrant pops of colour. A '40 of 50' badge is applied to the lateral midsole, which is limited to fifty pairs.

Released as a collegiate sneaker, Nike Dunks can now be found on the feet of celebrities and commoners alike. Limited editions like the Off White Dunks, from the 2019 collab between Nike and Virgil Abloh’s design label Off-White, further cemented Dunks’ place in sneaker folklore.
