Much of the structure of the Air Jordan 1 Low SE WRMK "Sashiko" Denim is distressed and worn. Fraying is present at the border of each overlay, which has denim fabric that matches the midsole below and is nearly fully covered in ornamental stitching.
In contrast, the Air Jordan 1 Low SE WRMK "Sashiko" Denim's Swoosh and base are cleaner, bringing the hue into balance with its black tumbled leathers and white canvas, respectively. The tongue tab is decorated with debossed Jumpman insignia, while the cork insoles have inconsistent motifs.
The Air Jordan 1 Low was originally released in several colourways, mirroring the High releases and served as a casual take on the signature high-top. Apart from basketball players, there was another group who immediately took to the AJ1 Low – skateboarders. The skateboarders found that the low-top was more comfortable for tricks.
