Nike Dunk Low Off-White University Gold Midnight Navy

Off-White and Nike maintain their innovative collaboration with a three-piece Dunk Low collection. With the Nike Dunk Low Off-White University Gold Midnight Navy that is inspired by the University of Michigan, Virgil Abloh gives tribute to skate culture's adoption of 1980s Nike Basketball models. The lateral Swoosh on this University Gold and navy leather model features a characteristic orange flag label. The top of this Dunk Low is made of varsity gold leather with midnight navy accents.

The design of the Nike Dunk Low Off-White University Gold Midnight Navy is completed by a distinctive supplementary zip-tie and signature Off-White writing on the sides. Traditional blue laces are present, but Abloh chooses to add a second pair of vibrant orange laces in a dispersed pattern all over the top. Additional Flywire lacing, bare tongue foam, and a bigger logo on the medial demonstrate Virgil Abloh's deconstructed approach. The split-colored rubber cupsole of the sneaker still seems to be evident.

Released as a collegiate sneaker, Nike Dunks can now be found on the feet of celebrities and commoners alike. Limited editions like the Off White Dunks, from the 2019 collab between Nike and Virgil Abloh’s design label Off-White, further cemented Dunks’ place in sneaker folklore.
