Nike SB Dunk High TV Signal

The "TV Signal" incorporates bold prints with stately base colours, attempting to make for yet another addition to the brand's expanding section of in-line SB Dunk releases. The lenticular graphic on the quarters and collar of the Nike SB Dunk High TV Signal blends green, blue, yellow, red, and purple stripes with static-like white specks for a "no signal" display callout.

Black nubuck is used for the mudguards, eyestays, as well as heels, dazzling black patent leather is used for the Swooshes. The upper part of the Nike SB Dunk High TV Signal is finished with white mesh tongues and silky white leather toe boxes. The contrasting feature of black suede overlays continues on the laces, lining, insole, midfoot Swooshes, and tongue tags, elevating the top look. A Zoom Air-loaded white midsole for lightweight padding and a black rubber Dunk outsole complete the design underneath the Nike SB Dunk High TV Signal.

Nike took note of the love skaters had for the Dunk and finally in 2002, introduced the SB Dunk, re-engineered for skating with features such as more padding and better traction. The SB Dunk became a canvas to try out offbeat colour combinations and unusual fabrics like pig suede.
